In this week’s edition, Bill visits Fredericksburg’s Faded & Company Barber Shop and Faded & Company Barber Academy at 2215 Emancipation Highway and talks with owner Antoine Carey. Antoine learned the barber trade while incarcerated, and, when released, started and grew his barber shop into a barber academy that helps at-risk youth achieve a barber career. Antoine’s story has been documented in an autobiography titled “From Whom Much is Given” and a documentary film titled “Fade in Full: The Story of Antoine Carey".
