FADED & CO. BARBER ACADEMY (FCBA) LAUNCHES THE FADED FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

FREDERICKSBURG, Virginia, December 24, 2021 — Faded & Co. Barber Academy (FCBA) announces the launch of its Faded Family Scholarship for 2022. The new scholarship program is aimed at students passionate about becoming a barber and giving back to the community. Through the Faded Family Scholarship, FCBA hopes to encourage students to engage in community service and turn passion into action.

The scholarship is open to the general public. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and have a barrier to employment and/or education.

FCBA will award one winner a $10,000 tuition scholarship to enroll in Faded & Co. Barber Academy’s Master Barber Program. Scholarship recipients are identified and rewarded by FCBA Board of Admissions. The scholarship is tentative, pending the student’s acceptance for admission and commencement of study at FCBA. If accepted, the scholarship will be credited to the student’s tuition, generally in equal disbursements during the academic year.

To apply for our scholarship, simply submit the following requirements through email at: fadedbarberacademy@gmail.com.

1. A one-page essay typed in 12-pt Times New Roman font, double spaced that answers the question: Describe how you have worked or would work to overcome your current employment or educational barrier.

2. A three to five-minute smartphone video that answers the following questions:

How would a scholarship help you achieve your goals?

Why are you interested in becoming a barber?

What are your plans after graduating from a barber school?

The 2022 Faded Family Scholarship will be awarded July 1, 2022.

Deadline to apply: June 1, 2022

Deadline for student acceptance to the school: July 15, 2022

Scholarships not redeemed by December 31, 2022, are void unless special arrangements are made with Faded & Co. Barber Academy Board of Admissions.
